FISHING: Webster is located in the Glacial Lakes Region of Northeastern South Dakota. The biggest and most popular bodies of water are Bitter and Waubay lakes that cover over 35,000 acres of water. These bodies of water alone are known for their world class walleye and jumbo perch angling opportunities, as well as great crappie and northern pike fishing.
HUNTING: Webster is in the heart of the Prairie Pothole Region and is centrally located in the middle of the Central Flyway waterfowl migration. The location provides for some of the best waterfowl hunting in the United States. Webster is also surrounded by thousands of acres of CRP, stripped corn, rushes, grassland, and trees that provide phenomenal pheasant habitat and a first class upland game hunting as well as whitetail and predator hunting.
